How to print front and back on one page
- Photograph or scan the front of the card, then the back. Crop away the table if you can, using Crop Image.
- Add the front in the first box and the back in the second.
- Choose the size: real card size for official copies, or bigger if the text is small.
- Choose front above back, or side by side, and how many copies you want on the page.
- Press Make A4 page and download the PDF to print, or the JPG to send.
Real card size
Aadhaar, PAN, voter ID, driving licence smart cards, bank cards and most ID cards use the international ID-1 size: 85.6 × 54 mm. FileFitly places each side at exactly that size on an A4 page at 300 DPI, so a printout matches the physical card. Photos taken in portrait orientation are turned automatically.
Printing tips
- Print with scale at 100% or “Actual size”. “Fit to page” makes the card larger.
- For a self-attested copy, sign across the printout, not across the photo on the card.
- Choose 2–4 copies on one page when you need several attested copies; cut along the dotted lines.
Sharing ID copies safely
- Write the purpose and date across a copy you hand over, for example “For SIM verification only, 13/10/2026”. It makes misuse harder.
- For Aadhaar, UIDAI offers a masked Aadhaar that hides the first eight digits of the number. Where a full number is not required, a masked copy is the safer choice.
- Do not leave spare copies at shops or cafés.

Getting a clean card photo
Put the card on a dark surface, photograph it from straight above in daylight, and avoid the flash, which causes glare on laminated cards. Hologram stickers will always reflect a little; tilt the light source, not the phone.
