How to make a passport photo sheet
- Add a photo: plain light background, face straight on, good daylight.
- Choose the photo size your form or office asks for.
- Choose the paper. 4 × 6 inch photo paper fits 8 passport photos; A4 fits many more.
- Use Zoom and Move until your face sits in the centre with a little space above your head.
- Press Make print sheet and download the JPG or PDF.

Printing at true size
The sheet is made at 300 DPI so each photo is exactly the chosen size, but only if the printer does not resize it.
- At a photo shop or kiosk: ask for a 4 × 6 print of the JPG, “no crop, no border”. It usually costs much less than a studio passport set.
- At home: print the PDF with scale set to 100% or “Actual size”. Turn off “Fit to page”.
- Check: measure one photo with a ruler. A passport photo should be 3.5 cm wide.
The thin grey cut lines help you cut straight. A paper trimmer gives cleaner edges than scissors.
Taking a good passport photo at home
- Stand about half a metre in front of a white or light grey wall, so your shadow falls behind you, not on the wall beside your head.
- Face a window. Ask someone else to take the photo at your eye level.
- Neutral expression, mouth closed, both eyes open, no glasses glare.
- No filters or beauty mode.
