The short version
The files you open in FileFitly tools are processed by your own browser on your own device. They are not uploaded to FileFitly or anyone else. We cannot see them, store them or share them.
Files you use in our tools
When you choose a PDF or image, it is read into your browser’s memory, processed there, and offered back to you as a download. Closing or refreshing the tab removes it. Some tools download helper code from public content networks (for example cdn.jsdelivr.net) the first time you use them, the Image to Text tool downloads a language file, and Font Finder downloads the free fonts it compares from Google Fonts. These downloads come to your device; your files do not go anywhere.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider may record basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, for security and to keep the site running. We may use privacy-friendly analytics to count visits to each page. This data is not linked to your files.
Email sign-up
If you sign up, we store your email address, when you signed up and confirmed, and which form you used. We use it only to send you new guides and tools, never sell or share it, and every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. Ask us any time and we delete your address.
To count free downloads before sign-up, your browser keeps a small note on your own device (the number of downloads today, and whether you have signed up). It is not sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Advertising and cookies
FileFitly is free because it shows ads. We may use Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services. Where required by law, for example in the EEA and UK, we ask for your consent before personalised ads or non-essential cookies are used.
Children
FileFitly is a general-audience site and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The tools keep working without cookies.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
